$165 fixed diagnosis
When a system stops cooling, leaks water or flashes an error code, the first visit is a fixed $165 to find out why. We test the electrics, the sensors, the drain and the refrigerant circuit. Then we tell you what failed, what it costs to fix and whether the unit is worth repairing. If it is low on gas, there is a leak, and we find that before any refrigerant goes back in.

Signs you need this
- The unit runs but the air is not cold or not warm

- Ice on the pipes or on the indoor coil
- New rattles, buzzing or a grinding sound from either unit

We test the unit properly, and take photos of whatever has failed.

You get a written figure for parts and labour. Small fixes are often done on the same visit.

We fit the part, run the system through a full cycle and check it holds temperature.
