Gutters and downpipes
Most of the old galvanised gutters on Coburg weatherboards have rusted from the inside, sagged off their brackets or lost their fall. We replace them in Colorbond steel in a profile that suits the house, set the fall properly towards the downpipes and add a downpipe where one gutter is doing too much work. We also clean gutters and clear blocked downpipes.
What is included
- Old gutters and brackets removed and taken away
- New Colorbond steel gutters in a profile to suit the house
- Fall set towards each downpipe and checked with water
- Extra or larger downpipes where the gutter is overloaded
- Rotten fascia flagged with photos before we cover it up
- Compliance certificate for work valued at $750 or more
How we do it
- 01Look at where it spills
We check the fall, the brackets, the outlets and how much roof each gutter is draining.
- 02Price by the metre
You get a fixed price that lists the metres of gutter and the number of downpipes.
- 03Replace and test
New gutters go up with the right fall, then we run water through to prove they drain.
