Solar panel installation
Most houses around here suit a 6.6 kW system on a 5 kW inverter, but we size from your bills before we suggest anything. Inner north roofs are rarely simple. Blocks are narrow, tiles are old, and a neighbour's second storey or a plane tree shades part of the roof. We often split panels across east and west faces and use microinverters or optimisers, so one shaded panel does not drag down the rest.
What is included
- Roof layout and shade assessment, with a generation estimate for your house
- Panels and inverter from the Clean Energy Council approved products list
- Installation by SAA-accredited installers and A-Grade electricians
- Grid connection application lodged with your distributor
- Certificate of Electrical Safety and all warranty documents
- Monitoring app set up on your phone before we leave
Signs you need this
- Your power bills keep rising and someone is usually home during the day
- You run a heat pump, pool pump or air conditioning in daylight hours
- You are planning an electric car or getting off gas in the next few years
- Your roof has at least one clear face pointing north, east or west
How we do it
A system sized from your bills and laid out for your roof, shade and all.
- 01
Bills and roof review
We read your usage from a recent bill and look at the roof on aerial imagery to draft a layout and an estimate.
- 02
Site check and fixed quote
We check the roof, switchboard and meter in person, then confirm the price in writing with STCs already taken off.
- 03
Installation day
Most systems are installed in one day. Power is off for an hour or two while we connect at the switchboard.
- 04
Handover
We show you the app, explain what a normal day looks like, and hand over the certificates.
