Bathroom and kitchen plumbing

Renovation plumbing happens in two visits. The rough-in comes first: new water and waste pipes set in the walls and floor before the sheeting and tiles go on. The fit-off comes at the end, when we connect the taps, basin, toilet, shower and appliances. We work from your plans, tell you early if something will not drain where it is drawn, and turn up on the days your builder needs us.

What is included

  • A site visit and a written, itemised quote
  • Rough-in of water, waste and gas points
  • Fit-off of taps, basins, toilets, showers and appliances
  • Coordination with your builder, tiler and waterproofer
  • Pressure test before the walls are closed
  • Compliance certificate for the finished work

Signs you need this

  • You are moving a toilet, shower or sink to a new spot
  • Old galvanised steel pipes found once the walls are open
  • Low water pressure in an older bathroom
  • A new kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge or gas cooktop to plumb in
  • Your builder needs a plumber who turns up on the day

How we do it

  1. Site visit and quote

We walk the room with your plans, check where the existing pipes run and send an itemised written quote.

  2. Rough-in

New pipework goes into the walls and floor, is pressure tested, and is photographed before it is covered.

  3. Fit-off

After tiling we fit the taps, basin, toilet, shower and appliances and seal around them.

  4. Test and certify

Everything is run and checked for leaks, and the compliance certificate is lodged.
