Taps, toilets and cisterns

A dripping tap or a toilet that keeps running is usually a small worn part: a washer, a ceramic cartridge, or the inlet or outlet valve in the cistern. We carry the common ones in the van, so most of these jobs are done in one visit. If the tap or the toilet is past repairing, we tell you and give you a price to replace it. We can also fit one you have bought yourself, as long as it carries the WaterMark.

What is included

  • Washers, cartridges and cistern valves replaced
  • Tap seats re-cut where a new washer alone will not seal
  • New taps, mixers and toilet suites fitted
  • Isolation taps checked, and replaced if they have seized
  • Old fittings taken away

Signs you need this

  • A tap that drips after you turn it off
  • A toilet that hisses or refills on its own
  • Water trickling into the bowl between flushes
  • A mixer that is stiff or will not hold its temperature
  • Water around the base of the toilet

How we do it

  1. Find the worn part

We open the tap or cistern and check which part has failed, and whether the fitting is worth repairing.

  2. Price it

You get one price for the repair, and a price to replace the fitting if that is the better call.

  3. Fix and test

We fit the parts, then run every tap and flush every toilet we touched before we go.

Got a leak, a blockage or no hot water?

Tell us what is happening and we will call you back to book a time. The price is agreed in writing before any work starts.
