Regular maintenance is for gardens that are too big, too steep or too established to keep up with on weekends. We come fortnightly, monthly or once a season, and the same gardeners come each time so they learn the garden. A visit covers what the season calls for: pruning after flowering, weeding before things set seed, feeding in spring, mulching before summer. All green waste leaves with us, and you get a short note on what was done.
What is included
- Pruning and hedging at the right time for each plant
- Hand weeding, with beds re-edged against the lawn
- Mowing, edging and seasonal lawn feeding
- Mulch topped up each spring, charged at cost
- Green waste taken away at the end of every visit
- A short note after each visit on what was done and what is due next
How we do it
-
First visit and plan
We walk the garden with you, agree what matters most and set how often we come.
-
Catch-up visit
If the garden has got away from you, one longer visit brings it back to a point we can keep up with.
-
Regular visits
The same gardeners arrive on a set day, do the seasonal work and leave a note.
-
Seasonal review
Four times a year we suggest what to plant, move or cut back, and you decide what goes ahead.
Signs you need this
- The garden takes your whole weekend and still looks untidy
- Hedges and shrubs have outgrown the ladder you own
- Weeds are setting seed before you get to them
- A steep bank at the back has not been touched in a year
- You are preparing a house for sale or a rental inspection
